| This particular free write was meaningful to me because it brought me back to a simpler time. While writing, I couldn't help but smile and laugh thinking about my childhood and all the memories I have from it. The memory I described is extremely special to me because it is one of the last moments I remember as a wholesome family prior to my parents' unfortunate divorce. It is also special to me due to the fact that it resulted in me finally getting a dog, who is now my best friend. :) |
I think it's interesting how you were able to think about your life as a kid and be able to connect how a seemingly normal childhood request was a pitched idea, even though it was not what you were thinking at the time. -Danielle Corsan
